Designer Courtyard Retreat Near Bendigo CBD

Positive: Location, heating, tv with all apps, back room with lovely glass. I liked that it was well stocked with cooking items and extras like baking paper, olive oil etc. Negative: Parking wasn't good. Front stairs steep and difficult to mamage luggage. I didn't like the unexpected extra cost of the security deposit or having to upload photo id before getting checkin info. That made me concerned about personal security.

Please be aware of the house managers. Very dismissive and unwilling to help with arising issues. Positive: The property was gorgeous. House was warm. But overshadowed by the disappointing experience. Negative: There was a plumbing issue from a tree root outside, nothing that was a fault of ours. We called Sable and Stone to try to receive help to fix the issue promptly. They were extremely rude, unhelpful + refused to reimburse us until we progressed the issue further. Still, we only were reimbursed $100 for the significant inconvenience and had to push very hard for this. They told us the money was coming but still nothing after weeks. We had to resolve the issue ourselves, couldn't use the house for over 8 hours. Had to leave to use the facilities, eat, as the bathrooms, kitchen were all blocked. Very very disappointing. Also, pushed for a bond but had to pay via an external link, was very uncomfortable with this.

Positive: Really beautiful property and super clean. Excellent heating throughout the house as well. Easy street parking. Slightly long walk into town - but it is walkable. Negative: Just be aware the property is off a main road so traffic noise at night in the morning can be a little loud. I would recommend bringing earplugs.
